My hair transformation story

Hey babes! Thought that it was about time to share the things my hair went through to go from black to blonde and all the in-between!

So this is my natural hair color (feat one of my old girls!)



So this was what I have been putting it through since I think 2011:

1. Natural black hair
2. Bangs
3. Short hair
4. Very brassy highlights (cringe)
5. Caramel high lights and side bangs
6. ASH BLONDE BUT IT'S BRASSY?
7. Dear Lord... let's not talk about the orange
8. Back to brown
9. I got extensions and very badly (cringe) "ombre'd" them.... and by ombre I mean make a blunt line between the brown and blonde oh Lord
10. Then I covered the blonde in pink then I just dyed it all a deep purple/brown!

So AFTER all of that (this collage was made about 2 years ago) I just dyed it back to brown and got rid of those ratty extensions, then ombre'd  it better! And when I started my first job in retail back in 2012, my coworkers were raving about their hair and how my assistant manager did it all at an AMAZING (and I really do mean AMAZING discount)

So I gave it a shot at becoming blonde, by going caramel first with her and this is the first time I'd ever gotten my hair professionally done! She did color correction, toned it and dyed it a nice caramel for me, this was the process:

 

We went bolder and my hair got a LOT longer between those 10 or so weeks (I'm missing a picture between so the length isn't surprising for 10 weeks)

Then... we finally went blonde, and curly! She tried a warmer blonde, then we transitioned into cooler blonde



And we stayed like that for awhile until February 2014 rolled around!
 

So where am I now?

 

Just back to good ol' blonde for awhile :) I've been having odd black hair withdrawls lately and oh how I miss it sometimes! But I think I'll stay away from any permanent full heads of unnatural/neon colors and reds! Really thinking about another colored feature in my hair! Any suggestions? xoxo until next time, babes!
